Smokers Fret, Others Cheer, Over New Ban in Northwest - New York Times

A new law in Washington state prohibits smoking not just inside public accomodations, but also anywhere outside such places within 25 feet of the door. Non-smokers can now go to bars and breathe smoke-free air, while smokers have to puff up outside in the cold or in heated outdoor tents provided by some businesses.
