Winning ice cream

read article
Cornell students were assigned to come up with an ice cream flavor that is reminiscent of a Cornell landmark in the annual Food Science 101 ice-cream making competition. The winning flavor, called Sloppy Slope Jolt, combines coffee ice cream with caramel, fudge and hazelnuts, and was inspired by a popular event at Cornell called Slope Day, when students celebrate the last day of classes by partying and sliding down a slope on campus. A winner from years ago, called Sticky Bunz, is so great, national companies have copied it.
