Jesus may have walked on ice, not water - study
Temperatures in the sea of Galilee during Jesus’ time could have caused patches of ice to form in the water that would be capable of supporting a person and which would appear indistinguishable from surrounding water. “The unfrozen water surrounding the ice would have come from salty springs along the lake’s western shore… Salty water freezes at lower temperatures than fresh water.”
