DIET: Thin People May Be Fat Inside

If you’ve always envied thin people who don’t seem to have to watch what they eat or exercise, you can stop. Researchers have found that many people who are thin on the outside and who are at what seems to be a healthy weight could very well be fat on the inside.

Scanning hundreds of people of normal weight on MRI machines, it was found that 45% actually had excessive levels of visceral fat (fat around internal organs) which is a major health risk. Some of those found to be fat on the inside were even professional models.

So it looks like nobody gets a free pass; even thin people have to exercise and eat healthfully if they want to be in good health.
